get_defined_vars

get_defined_vars — Returns an array of all defined variables
Description
array get_defined_vars ( void )

This function returns a multidimensional array containing a list of all defined variables, be them environment, server or user-defined variables, within the scope that get_defined_vars() is called.

A multidimensional array with all the variables.

something i have found extensivly helpful while templating and modifying blocks etc. is the following


<?php print_r(get_defined_vars()); ?>

placing the above in your node.tpl.php for example will show you all the available variables you have when you browse to a node page.

Facebook is apparently smart enough to transition to what they know will be. A social network in the same style that facebook is now in won't survive.
