YOUR TURN

Your turn. Paste this into Claude: Here is the Lectern board, read back as text, then paste it. Here is the regenerated Mermaid, then paste it. Diff them: list every node added, every node removed or renamed, every edge that changed direction, and every label that changed. Then pick one node that is in the board but not in the code, and say why it

Introduction

[0:00] Sveiki, this is Liam in for Bear. Did the week change the diagram? Better question, did the week change the code? Three terms, the Lectern board, the fig jam architecture diagram drawn from the course repo's code on the 26th of September. Drift, nodes the code has that the board doesn't show or that the board gets wrong. And regeneration, a new diagram drawn from the code as it stands now.

Introduction

[0:22] The board from film 20, 31 boxes, 35 arrows drawn on the 26th of September. An architecture diagram of the Lectern job, a board watcher, the pipeline, the config, the sync, and the five human gates. Bear's marks are pending. The code today has seven nodes the board doesn't show. Four in the Lectern folder, audit rejects, audit titles, demand report, and the title families file they read. A Figma folder with two scripts and a professor CV in the facts folder. Eight commits since the board was drawn. The most recent landed on the 27th of September, one day after the board, nine days before this film. Zero commits since film 20. The code froze one day in. FEA 30 is the regenerated diagram. Same pipeline, same gates, but the seven new nodes appear. The board's version is what was true on the 26th. FEA 30 is what's true now. What's pending Bear? His marks on the old board to say whether any arrow is wrong, not just undrawn. And the question of whether FEA 30 replaces it. Without his marks, the count stands. Seven new nodes, same pipeline, and the code frozen nine days.

Your Turn

[1:27] Your turn. Paste this into Claude. Here is the Lectern board. Back as text, then paste it. Here is the regenerated mermaid, then paste it. Diff them. List every node added, every node removed or renamed, every edge that changed direction, and every label that changed. Then pick one node that is in the board but not in the code and say why it was drawn. Then check two things yourself. Does the diff match what the code has now? And is the node you picked correct at the time it was drawn? The week has passed at Nick Bear Brown.
